Organo Fresh is a mix of Effective Microorganisms specifically chosen to prevent heating and spoilage in feeds. The unique mix of microbes has a slightly sour yet fresh tangy aroma which increases palatability and therefore intake.
Organo Fresh is a ready-to-use liquid mix of beneficial Effective Microorganisms (EM), containing organic acids, alcohols and yeast. The effectiveness of Organo Fresh is due to the inclusion of organic acids, which create a pH of 2.8.
As the acids are naturally occurring they are harmless to humans, animals and machinery. The microorganisms produce beneficial bio-active substances that suppress the heating up of feed rations, eliminating wastage as well as reducing the mycotoxin risk. This also makes Organo Fresh an extremely effective crimped grain preservative.
As with the inclusion in the TMR using Organo Fresh to crimp grain works similarly. The acidity of the organic acids preserves the grains by killing other microorganisms, in particular the rotting and heating microbes as well as the mycotoxin-forming fungi.
