Agriton Bokashiâ„¢ the power of Effective Microorganisms (EM®)

The fermentative decomposition of organic matter, by Effective Microorganisms (EM®), into a predigested nutrient-dense food
for the soil.

There are many different ways to decompose organic matter but anaerobic fermentative decomposition, or Bokashi, is the most efficient.

  • Retains nutrients

  • Reduces emissions

  • Regenerates soil health

  • Feeds soil biology

  • Ready in as little as 8 weeks

BOKASHI MAKING GUIDELINES

  • 1m (cubed) Organic matter

  • C:N ratio of 15-25:1

  • Moisture content: 35-65%

  • 2L Actiferm

  • 10kgs Aegir

  • 10kgs Edasil

Mix or layer amendments through the heap then seal air-tight for a minimum of 6 weeks

Table comparing starting material, traditional compost, and Bokashi compost for various metrics including dry matter, organic matter, carbon total, nitrogen total, mineral nitrogen, organic nitrogen, C/N ratio, pH, and energy. The data includes values in kilograms, grams, and pH units.
